Anti-reflective glass, as its name implies, is glass that resists reflection and thus increases transmittance. The technology has been successfully developed by a German research institute. Although it is expensive, it is still very popular in foreign markets. The transmittance of this new type of glass is as high as 99.5%. In order to increase the transmittance of glass, the glass surface is coated with a coating layer which can prevent light reflection. The formation of a new type of glass with anti-reflection function will play an important role in the glass processing industry in the new century. The glass has broad market and development prospects in many fields such as building materials, solar energy utilization, optical instrument manufacturing and so on.
